FPU（Flexible Positioning Unit）專為氣動致動器提供位置、速度及力度的精準控制。相較於一般僅能達成單一或有限定位的傳統氣動控制方式，FPU大幅提升氣動致動器的應用彈性與性能。
氣動致動器相較電動致動器具備更佳的重量／功率比、更低的成本，且對過載不敏感等優勢。透過 Staccato的整體方案，使用者可將多數原採用電動致動器的應用改以氣動方式實現，同時也能升級既有氣動系統，以滿足日益提高的柔性製造需求與多變的生產條件。
此外，FPU更能支援多個氣動致動器的同步／平行運動控制，此功能為其他氣動控制方案所無法達成。

The Flexible Positioning Unit (FPU) from Staccato Technologies is used to control position, Speed and Force on pneumatic actuators. This empowers pneumatic actuators vastly compared to the more common solutions which normally can't be used for multiple positions. Pneumatic actuators have a better weight/power ratio than electric actuators, they have lower cost, and are less sensitive for overload etc. With the Staccato Solution, users can replace many electric solutions with pneumatic solutions, and they can also upgrade their existing pneumatic solutions to meet increasing demands on flexible production and varying demands. The flexible positioning unit also enables parallel movement of several pneumatic actuators, which cannot be done with other solutions.
Applications: Lifters, stoppers, grippers, speed control, fast, controlled movements, pressing applications. Control of pneumatic actuators with rod locks.
Can be used for all types of pneumatic actuators in bore sizes 20-320mm.
